The Amplifyr discover page, explained from a brand's perspective

We built the Discover page to help brands efficiently find, vet, and connect with the right creators by providing actionable filters for audience, content, and engagement.

The brand manager, Sarah, squinted at her monitor, a mix of frustration and exhaustion clouding her face. It was 11 PM and she was still sifting through influencer profiles, trying to find someone, anyone, who actually fit the upcoming campaign for their new eco-friendly line of skincare. The agency had sent a list, of course, but it was all the usual suspects, and Sarah was tired of the same old, same old. She knew there had to be more authentic creators out there, people whose audience truly cared about sustainable living, not just pretty packaging. But where to find them? It felt like looking for a needle in a haystack, a beautifully curated, algorithm-driven haystack, but a haystack nonetheless.

That moment, for us, was a big part of the 'why' behind building what we now call the Discover page. We saw firsthand how much time and energy brands were pouring into just finding creators, let alone vetting them. It wasn't about a lack of talent out there, it was about a lack of efficient, insightful access.

From a brand's perspective, the Discover page is designed to solve that core problem: discovery. Imagine you’re Sarah again. You have a new product launch, a specific target demographic, and a set of values you want your collaborating creators to embody. You don't want to just browse infinite feeds; you need actionable filters.

When you land on the Discover page, the first thing you'll notice is the array of filters. We've thought deeply about what truly matters when you're making that initial assessment. You can filter by platform, of course—Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, even Twitch. But it goes deeper than that. You can specify follower counts to align with your budget and campaign scale, whether you're looking for micro-influencers with passionate niches or macro-influencers for broader reach.

Then there are the audience demographics. This is huge. Instead of guessing who a creator’s audience might be, we pull in data that lets you see where their followers are located geographically, their age ranges, and even gender distribution. For Sarah's eco-friendly skincare, targeting an audience primarily interested in sustainable living, this is crucial. She can look for creators whose audience has a strong concentration in, say, the 25-45 age bracket, living in urban areas known for prioritizing ethical consumption. This isn't just about raw numbers; it's about audience quality and relevance.

Beyond the numbers, we’ve focused on content categories and keywords. This allows you to really hone in on creators who consistently talk about topics relevant to your brand. For instance, if you're launching a healthy snack, you can search for creators who regularly post about nutrition, fitness, or meal prep, rather than just general food bloggers. This ensures a much higher likelihood of audience alignment and, ultimately, better campaign performance. Our keyword search isn't just about finding exact matches; it's smart enough to understand related concepts, helping you uncover creators you might not have found with a literal search. It’s about getting you closer to creators who are already authentically integrating topics that align with your product or service.

We also added a crucial element: estimated engagement rates. This isn't just a vanity metric; it's a vital indicator of an audience's responsiveness. A creator with millions of followers but low engagement might not be as effective as a smaller creator with a highly engaged, loyal community. This insight helps you prioritize creators whose content truly resonates, leading to more impactful collaborations.

Perhaps one of the most powerful aspects is how the Discover page helps you move beyond your current network. Brands often fall into the trap of working with the same creators repeatedly, not because those creators are always the best fit, but because they're known and accessible. The Discover page breaks that cycle. It continuously updates with new creators joining our platform, giving you a fresh pool of talent to explore. It's designed to introduce you to creators you wouldn't necessarily find through traditional methods or even through your existing agency connections.

Once you find a few promising creators, you can click into their profiles to see a more detailed breakdown. This is where you can assess their past content performance, their audience insights in greater detail, and get a better sense of their personal brand and tone of voice. This deeper dive helps you confirm if they truly align with your brand's image and campaign goals before you even reach out.

For Sarah, the Discover page would mean finding creators who genuinely advocate for sustainability in their daily lives, not just as a one-off sponsored post. She could identify creators whose audience demographics precisely matched her target consumer, and whose engagement rates showed a healthy, active community. This would save her hours, no, days, of manual searching and give her the confidence that she’s building a campaign with authentic, impactful partners.

Ultimately, the Discover page isn't just a directory; it's a strategic tool. It's built to empower brands to make more informed, data-driven decisions about their creator partnerships, moving beyond surface-level metrics to truly understand the people and audiences behind the profiles. It gives you the power to find your perfect creator, not just any creator.
